Area of Interest: Transportation network modelling
The economic development of a region can often be linked to the quality and status of its transportation infrastructure. The better the transport system, the more promising a future the region can expect.
I have also been intrigued by the challenge of applying mathematics and statistics to real world issues. So coming up with an efficient and sustainable transport system to directly impact the economic growth of a city is something that fascinates me.
The rCITI group at UNSW Australia has emerged as a strong research group in transportation infrastructure which is why I applied to do my PhD research here. It is an enriching experience working within a faculty with such high quality, renowned researchers and academics and I receive all the support I need to work on and develop my research ideas.
