Farshid holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Azad University, Iran, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Transport) from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, and a PhD in Transportation Engineering from the IUST, Tehran, Iran.
