2021 Engineering Research Ambassador

Esta Qiu was recenlty named as the 2021 UNSW Engineering Research Ambassador. 

The Engineering Research Ambassador Award supports highly motivated HDR students who are keen to promote the Engineering Faculty's research throughout UNSW and the wider community with a particular focus on the undergraduate student community.

Esta is passionate about bridging the gap between industry and academia, as she recognises the increasing interest in research and development in the industry as well as industry-academia collaboration.

She hopes to inform and engages students by bringing more visibility to the application and value of Engineering research and dismantle any misconception by sharing her experience.

In addition to promoting Engineering research, she hopes to support students in making well-informed decisions as they navigate and explore their career interests.
