Delve into the mysteries of bionics at the Museum of Human Disease at UNSW's Kensington campus - nominated by CNN as one of the world’s weirdest museum.

Visitors can see life through a bionic eye, learn about the developments in bionic technologies, experiment on the speed of their nerves and even create a bionic arm. There are different workshops each day. Be warned that the museum includes displays of human tissue specimens, so isn't suitable for everyone.

When: weekdays until January 23, 2015

Cost: from $45
